When you have a dream that your best friends ex tell you that you and your best friend would look perfect together and it would so totally work out? (By the way yeah I do have a crush on my best friend, and his ex didn't really like me when they were together)

This is one of the stupidest dream interpretation requests I've ever read. In asking this question it's like your looking for outside approval for taking the guy, you know you like.

This appears to be a wish-fulfillment dream. Your mind is trying to encourage you to go for what you want, though it says nothing of the probable outcome. So I'd say "Go for it!" and "Good luck!" If you're careful in your approach, you should be able to remain good friends even if your friend isn't interested in that kind of relationship with you. You're nervous about it, but that's only natural.
