  1. You are re-living the feelings again, so to speak.  It's your grief, so you are even grieving when you are sleeping.  I had dreams of that nature  about my dad for 7 1/2 years after his death.  He was always sick, going to die again, even though we knew he had already passed on we were still doing it again.  Or it would be about his sickness.  But 6 months ago I started having really good dreams about my dad.  I'm not sad any more when I awake from my dreams.  I wake up happy with a good story or feeling.  So I think this is part of your grief.  It may have something to do with acceptance, but I don't think I really had any acceptance issues.  Grieving is just a very personal process, not everyone does it the same.  Condolences.

  2. Michael is actually absolutely right. Modern scientists pretty much all agree that most dreams are completely random and have nothing to do with a person's thoughts or feelings. Dream reading is a complete pseudoscience in this day and age. As Michael stated the only thing that can really affect your dreams is if something big happens recently. I would rather focus on what you felt during the dream and your brothers memory rather than what it means.

  3. It just means you miss him.

  4. Nothing really. Dreams are totally random. Rarely they have any sort of objective. But sometimes dreams are induced by any little thing in your day. for example my mother always said i made her so frustrated she was going to kill herself. later i dreamt that i watched her commit suicide.

  5. you miss him.. and he's still in your brain and you won't ever forget about him..
