What does it mean when you have differential shutter when the transmission is cold?

its mitsubishi 3000gt

non turbo and its fine once its warm

no mostly when low throttle is used before its warmed up and while turning before its warmed up

should I try a anti shutter additive like lsd use

even the weather makes a difference

its 5 speed

  1. It may have something to do with the viscosity of the fluid when warm or cold. I don't care what they say, the colder oil will have higher lethargy or viscosity. Makes it harder to shift in cold weather because the synchros are all gummy.


  2. try chrysler fluid/oil....i don't know why...but it really helps!
