What does it mean when you visit a My Space page and it says '(Name) is in your extended network?

I did a search for a person on my yahoo messenger list and found a my space link to that name. When I opened the page it said this person is in my Extended Network. I don't know the person on the page in question.

Well, if you have an Myspace account and you access their page it means (the name) is in the myspace network. The millions of people that have an myspace account.
