  1. (one of the options below or all of them)

    Your an idolater

    Superstitious

    a little deceived.

I can point you to MANY Satanist who wear crosses.

  2. constant reminder.

    love for Jesus

    opportunity to meditate.

Generally if it has been blessed by a priest, and is a crucifx as opposed to a cross,  that the wearer is a member of the knigdom of heaven/God on earth, and you can ask that person any question about God, the bible salvation they should give you an answer or direct you to somone who can.

    Any question at all!

  3. you love god and show it

  4. that means you're a Christian.

  5. In all cases the Crucifix is a reminder that Christ died for our sins and has redeemed us through his resurrection.  When worn on a necklace it places the promise of our own resurrection near to our heart.  Thanks be to God.

  6. I don't wear a crucifix, (body still on cross). I wear a cross as a personal reminder of God's grace.

It's idolatry if I worship it as a god...

  7. Ozzy Osbourne wears one that Elton John gave him. So I'd have to conclude that it means you think it looks good and nothing more.

  8. You have a cross necklace?

    You believe in Christ?

You're going to get it the ol' fashion ancient way?

  9. Those of us who are Catholics frequently wear a Crucifix as a reminder of the love that Jesus had for us when He was willing to die for our sins. The Crucifix itself is not a "idol," as some people have erroneously suggested, but it *is* a sacramental.

Sacramentals are objects such as crucifixes, Holy Water, scapular medals, and other blessed objects which remind us of God's love and His protection. They aren't some kind of good luck charm to ward off evil, but they are meant to remind us that God is only a prayer away.

Protestants tend to wear a plain Cross without the Corpus (body of Christ) because they focus on the Resurrected Christ. Just a different emphasis on things, that's all.

  10. IF you wear it for religious reasons it means you are a Christian, a believer in Christ. IF you wear it because it looks cool, it's fashion.

    Gypsy

  11. That you are Christian

  12. When you wear a crucifix, it shows that you identify with Christ and His death on Calvary.

Actually, the crucifix has Jesus still on it and we know that He is no longer on that tree!  He is in heaven and is our Redeemer and Savior.

On the cross, he suffered and died in our place.  Off the cross, He is in heaven to hear our prayers.

    I wear a cross, not a crucifix.

  13. I never really understood this, because the crucifix was a torture device in his case.  If you follow Jesus, why not make the symbol of him have something more representative of the wisdom and light he brought to this world?

  14. It is a symbol of an event that evokes certain thoughts.  It is a dress style, you are trying to say something about yourself.

  15. A person who wears a crucifix is paying homage and respect to Jesus Christ, who died on the cross in order to restore our relationship with the Father.  It is also a reminder of the greatest act of love ever done by another human being.

To me, a cross without the figure of Jesus on it is pretty pointless.  It is not the cross that is important, but the fact that Jesus died for us that is important.

  16. It means they have bad taste in jewelry.

  17. It means you are "gangsta".  You know those people who wear necklaces of AK-47s, automatic pistols and such like that killed some relative.

Far from being Christian, the cross is a pagan symbol of Nimrod of Babylon, who opposed God at every turn.  An enemy of God.

The early Christians of the apostles time would never wear such a form of idolatry.  Most of today that tries to pass as Christian has nothing to do with that Christianity of Christ and his apostles.

  18. I am a Christian but i don't wear a crucifix, although I believe it is the symbol of what our religion stands for and can give to the world.  I don't wear it as a protest against many who wear it for reason so contrary to Christian confession.

  19. To take up the cross and follow Christ  was never intended to be an orniment, but literal; it is to carry your own load or cargo, and the cargo of others.  the cross of the true Christian is to daily uphold the heavenly principles and practices of morality, integrity, and unselfishness in a world filled with secular principles and practices of immorality, dishonesty, and selfishness, which opresses daily those of good will. This is not an orniment, but the daily real life choice to be for righteousness and against sin; and it can be a heavy cross to bear.
