When my boy friend did that, he would never answer, but then on Valentines Day he gave me a card that said:

"I stare at your face because I can't belive that I'm dating such a pretty girl like you and when I can't belive it, I start to wonder why such a pretty girl like you would date such an average looking guy like me and then I realize that I'm not dating you just because your face is beautiful, but because your heart is too."

So maybe that's why your boyfriend keeps staring at your face when your not looking!!.

This guy like me and he wears shade, which he does not necessarily like to take off, but he knows I don't like that, so when he  talks to me, he stares me in the eys...pretty much means take it off completely for the moment that I am with him....(Honestly, I thinks it's cute.
