What does it mean when your goldfish has bubbles in the tank? ^_^?

  1. itsimply means you have oxygen in the water and that is good if you had a fighting fish it would be building nest.


  2. Usually that's from them sucking st the top of the tank to get oxygen.  Are you keeping it clean and aerated???

  3. You may have a gassy goldie on your hands.

  4. Are they around the edge at the top of the tank? If so that means that there is so much protein (food & p**p) in the tank that the surface tension has decreased making the bubbles last longer in the tank. If this is your problem do a 25% maybe even a 50% water change and the bubbles should cease.

  5. my fish is a betta fish, and mines makes lots of bubbles. i think someone told me it wants to breed or something. idk, hope that helps (:
