What does it mean when your guy friend gives you his number?

i said bye to my guy friend j and he said bye back but when i said bye and looked at him , he gave me this hard stare look . then he came back and a said take this it was a piece a paper wit his number on it .the thing is he has know n me since the it was my freshman year in high school and he was a junior . i think he likes me but i don't like him like that , i just think of him as a friend should i call him ?

if you don't like him, call him and just say " Hey J. I was wondering why you gave me your number" and say to tell the truth. Say it won't ruin your friendship if he likes you. And who knows, by the time you call him, you may like him! Good Luck!!

i would call him and if he says he likes you tell him you only like him as a friend

it wouldnt hurt for you to call him especially if you dont really like him like that. if he asks to go out with you just say youre not really into him on that level.
