What does it mean when your protein, white and red blood cell count is abnormal?

  2. this has happened to me due to my kidney disease.  theres no way to tell what this could me to you.  i always have low protein (albumin) levels in my blood because it spills out in my urine.  i had low RBC levels because i was anemic.

  3. It depends on what the actual test values are.  When the values are abnormally high, they indicate one problem.  When the values are abnormally low, they indicate another problem.

    High levels of proteins may indicate a kidney problem, however

    high levels of proteins in association with low blood cell counts may indicate a hemolytic disease.

    AND

    high levels of proteins with high blood cell counts can indicate multiple myeloma.

    OR you could simply have an infection

    OR, if you are a woman, it could mean that due to your menstrual cycle, vaginal secretions acidentally got into your urine sample.

    So as you can see, to answer that question completely, we would need to know the exact values and your history.  If you had a test performed, you can ask your doctor to explain the results to you. :-)
