to make free a person who was ill ... he made one monday and one saturday the person who was ill died ... what does it means ? thanks nice day

Hunger strikes to protest against ill treatment were forms of protest in former wartimes in civilised nations. These days they force a food tube into your throat and feed youin that way, but refuse adamantly to stop the brutality.

fasting as penance to gain Gods blessing is partly self discipline and denial and a plea to the spirit for mercy.

He declared war against the temptations of the flesh - the devils playground and the source of lust etc. It is the same mentality as whipping yourself to mortify the flesh. So in order to purify yourself before death you would take a fast to prove your sanctity - like the lent fats in cathlicism ar ramadan in muslim belief.
