... that 4 years later we are still ignoring the genocide in the Sudan (darfur)

in American history books we recall the holocaust and we say never again

but as it happens again in front of our eyes we are too involved in Bush's own political war in Iraq

... at the highest level we don't seem to understand right from wrong ... and money, power, and corruption are spun into viable solutions

and the media gives us more coverage of britney spears ... why in such a clear cut case of genocide have we dropped the ball?

Ps. I'm not saying we should have gone over there guns blazing like we did in Iraq (yea, worst mistake our history) ... I'm saying we should have done more, and we should be doing more

Great question!!  Our society is very misguided.  Most Americans do not know current events.  Nor do lots of them care.  It is very sad.

Also, for the girl Lillian down below.  I am fighting in the war.  And it is killing our men and women for no reason at all.  We are fighting for the impowerment of the big shots here in America.  For financial agenda.  Not for peace!!  It is people like you with lack of understanding that is hurting our country and the lives of all the military men and women.  Educate yourself!!!!

Darfur needs to deal with the UN.  It may be your priority, but it isn't mine.  In fact the problem stems from Muslims....so we are doing our part.  Its obvious you don't understand Iraq, but your lack of understanding does not make it wrong.   Why don't you join the military and go fight yourself.
