  1. if you think about it: the setter is the play maker.

without the setter, there is no hits

without the hits there are no points. (unless your playing a really bad team )) :]

but that usually means that you arent the best hitter, dont be offended, but you have great ball control, and your loud talkative annd probably a team leader.

  2. the setter is the equivalent to a quarterback in football.the setter is the leader.this position Carry's the most responsibility

  3. the setter is one of the most important players i would say. theyre the quickest to get to the ball, theyre always ready and on their toes, and they can set really well. its definitely more than just average. usually setters are voted mvp.

  4. The setter is the soul of a team. She should be quick getting under the ball, has good decision making, and sets the ball without spin.

A good setter should have so-called "magic fingers" that make magic contact with the ball without being called lifting or holding. She should have the leadership skill to make teammates look better while make them believe that all her decisions are good decisions.

A good set can keep the ball "staying" in the air waiting for the hitter.

  5. That means you r good at setting and your coach sees potential in you!!!

  6. it just means that you would probably make a great setter

maybe you're not that strong of a hitter and would make a great setter

& its a pretty important position & good setters are kinda hard to come by sometimes...b/c there can be so many hitters..

& setters are sometimes the leaders on the court & are always talking to their team mates about where to go

you could go far as a setter if your work hard on it

but if you really hate the position then work on your hitting...
