  1. It means she doesn't care anymore what she looks like.  That she doesn't fix her hair or care what she wears, etc.  For some women they let a lot of other things go too.  It's not always a pretty picture.


  2. it means she doesn't dress and care for herself like she used to.  she doesn't do her hair anymore, and walks around all day in sweats.

  3. It means when they're comfortable in a relationship, they might gain weight, stop pampering themselves, stop dressing up and stop trying to be s**y for their significant other. They might wear sweatpants and a face mask to bed instead of lingerie, stuff like that. It's not a good thing to just stop caring.

  4. I think you mean lets herself go.  That means the person no-longer cares about their appearance, gains weight, stops wearing make up, stops brushing or grooming their hair.  I know of women who let themselves go after getting married.  I guess before the wedding she needed to look her best to attract the opposite s*x.  After the wedding she feels she's got a man so she doesn't have to work so hard at her appearance and begins to "let herself go".
