What does it take for a radio station?

I would like to know what all do i need for a radio station? I know i need a transmitter and a big antenna but what does this stuff cost and where can i get it? Also what fees are there?

the equipment varies so much from next to nothing to a lot more than you want to think about (i'm sorry if this is you, bill gates) but the first thing you need to look into is government licenses. if you do not deal with them first they can fine you and take all your equipment, which could cost you even a lot more.
