In the UK, there is no formal state system to reward 'bounty hunters' for finding and detaining offenders who have jumped bail or committed similar acts as there is in the USA.

However, bounty hunters do work in cooperation with police and insurance companies to recover stolen goods, most often motor vehicles, from criminal gangs across Europe. They negotiate their 'bounty' directly with the insurance company in return for information on the location of the goods, or their safe return.

The most important skill to acquire is a sound working knowledge of the relevant law. Without this knowledge it would become very easy to committ offences in the course of any investigation, leading to trouble with the very authorities you might aim to assist.

Beyond that, good investigative skills, persistence, confidence and common sense are all surely essential.

No such thing in the UK. So it woudl take you to change the law to create such an entity etc etc

They dont put bounties on people in the UK. Unles you work for a loan shark i suppose
