What does it take to get a motorcycle license?

in missouri what do i have to do in order to ride a motorcycle...is it a writen test? or what exactly is it

  1. Depends on your state.  Regardless, I highly recommend the Motorcycle Safety Foundation course (I took this year as a beginner myself).  For many states, passing the course automatically fulfills both the written and practical requirements for the Motorcycle endorsement.  And, as a benefit, some insurance companies give a discount (or so I'm told) to MSF riders.

  2. You must take a written test and a skills test at the DMV.

    If you take a state approved motorocycle safety class you do not have to take the skills test but you will still need to take the written test.

  3. in california pass written test get permit for one year in that time you can try to pass skills test at dmv 1st time free 20 bones each time after very hard skills test. better bang for your buck is a safety course 250$
