What does it take to get into these schools?

Academy of Arts, and FIDM(Fashion Institute of Desin and Merchandising)

i need an honest to god answer.

and im not talkin about gpa.

im talkin creativity wise or extra curricular, and if these schools are with the trouble to get into and some requiremants.

and if u dont think that these schools are good can u suggest another one?

Hi!

Well I personally like FIDM, from my friends who went to school there, there isn't no "set" requirements. The advisors really like to see students who are creative and are excited to not only attend the college but excited about excelling in their chosen major.

Any classes that you've taken that are art and/or design related will also help in your favor. Also, any work experience/internship experience is a plus too.

Really, I would just worry about putting all your efforts into the entrance project, essay and interview. Those will tell a lot about your creativity, who you are as a student and how much you really want to succeed.

If you want more information, I would talk to a FIDM advisor, they will tell you straight-up what they look for in a FIDM student.
