  1. To go to a foster home, a child must be removed by Child Protective Services and placed there.  This could be due to a wide variety of situations from drugs to sexual abuse.  If you are or know someone who is in a situation, they need to contact local child services or juvenile court for help.

  2. bad parents or parents that don't want you. oi was in foster care growing up and it wasn't fun. most family's are in it for the money because the state pays a butt load for them to take care of you. all the family's i had experience with were into little girls, did heavy drugs and and this one guy who my sister lived with actually ended up being a p**n producer that was into horses and him and the woman that lived there both had s*x with one of the other girls that lived there. it was discusting. and made me cry that my little sisters both (under 15) were put in that situation. i was in it till i was 17. same ****. there is stories on the news all the time about foster parents doing it for the money and dont give a c**p about the kid- they had theese pour kids locked in dogcages in the basement. they were getting burned with ciggrets and made to eat dog food. im all grown up and married now. but my child hood was never that great.from foster home to foster home growing up.
