  1. takes balls, guts and pain aswell as determination. you will want to learn the hard way it is better. u dont need genetics thats bs being a little insane helps too lol

  2. Lol you need nothing, just practice martial arts and be good at it, also be fit.

  3. The ability to go though the grueling training. Genetics may help but its mostly about training and your mental state. I'm goin to join the miletich camp in houston texas and I am willing to go through the training.

  4. You must have the balls to take the punishment and you must be a fighter. Most of the famous boxers didnt have parents that fought so its all within yourself.

  5. nerves of steel and a never say die attitude. oh wait, that's renegade cop.

  6. It takes "drive and determination" and nothing more, but any thing less is totally unacceptable.  The willingness to want to train would be accepted by any self respecting MMA team out there.  As far as the actual fights go if you're stepping into the cage that's all that counts bro.

Genetics have absolutely nothing to do with this sport ever.  The biggest upsets in MMA happen when the cage door locks and the bullsh*t stops man.  Talk is cheap.  My own team has had tons of people come and practice with us acting as if they were ready to fight then when the time comes to go to an event and actually fight a lot of would-be tough guys take off on us.  We've had very few stick around and tough it out.  It's always the ones I think that'll quit too that never do and the ones I think will be powerhouses in the cage from just looking at them that drop out after a good full day's training.

My best student "Maximum Carnage" Mike Reinzan is currently 3 - 1 in MMA and I never thought for a minute when he first started training with us that he'd be as good as he is.  No coach or trainer can ever figure out the suprises that MMA can through your way ever man.  All it takes from the practitioner is "pure will power", "technique" and "determination".  Stepping into the cage already proves 100% heart dude.  So win or lose in that cage any fighter deserves his respect.

  7. You need to beable to take pain first of all, your a boxer so i think you can handle that, balls, and some BJJ/mauy thai/wrestling classes and dedication

  8. A touch of insanity and a high threshold for pain.
