What does it usually mean when you see a dog who has been a mother BREAST SWOLLEN?

i seen recently a dog with its owner with one of its breast swollen it kind of looked like two for into one?? it sounds so confusing but i think it would have had breast caner it looked like it had babies

The mammory glands of a female canine sweel with milk while nursing.  It takes a few months, after weaning the pups, to shrink back to a tight, "normal" appearance, although they're never perfect again.

My dog had 3 lumps on her teats when we adopted her. She had a littler of puppies before we got her. The vet removed 2, and left the 3rd one because he thought it would go away after her hormone levels went down after the spay. However, it's now twice as big and we are seeing the vet in a few days! The other 2 lumps were just fatty tissue.
