  1. joint favourite is one of 2 or 3 favourites. and 2nd joint favourite is the second favourite with either 1 or 2 other horses. its very common...hope this helps!!

  2. a joint favourite means that it is one of two horses that the book maker thinks will win the race, Joint favourite to win.

"2nd joint favourite means that whilst not the favourite, it is the horse that is second favourite, along with another horse to win the race.

If a horse is a co favourite, it means that for example co favourite of 3  then there are 3 horses that the book makers all consider have an equal chance of winning.

Not 100% certain, but check with the bookmaker if there are any special rules regarding pay outs when a horse is a joint or co favourite to win.

    Hope this helps,

  3. its joint 2nd favourite.
