  1. I have no idea what you're asking about.  Is it anything like leg of lamb?

  2. For instance, if you were going to travel to the Bahamas on a ship that departed from Florida, but you lived in CA, the first leg (or portion) of your trip would be by airplane, and the second leg would be by ship. Another example:  Say you were flying from Michigan to Las Vegas, but you couldn't get a non-stop flight so you had a lay-over in Cleveland.  The Michigan to Cleveland flight would be the first leg of your journey, and the flight from Cleveland to Vegas would be the second leg of your journey. "Transit" simply means transportation, or the method of going from one place to another.

  3. each stop is one leg

  4. it means where you are in relation to where you are going.

when you are on the way home you are on the return leg.

"the last leg of your trip"

    Hope this helps.

  5. it means a trip. (1) if the driver has 4 legs and hes driving one way now, the third leg begins when the operator turns the vehicle around and heads back in the direction he came. leaving two trips to do.
