       and grilled w/butter  and lots  of garlic. opps !    but  it  so  good.....  and;  for  the  salad,....you  can  just  toss  it  away   +  extras  eating  in  open  space  like  the  ......Beach     OR....

You may mean lobster and a tossed salad.  You'd have lobster and then, on the side, a salad of tossed vegetables and lettuce.

It sure doesn't mean tossing a lobster into your salad.

A tossed salad is one that already has dressing on it.

Make your greens, dress with a Mayo based dressing (green goddess is a classic) then top the salad with some slices of cooked lobster meat, a little salt and a tiny squeeze of lemon.    Perfect.
