  1. If you are wanting high launch go with the Aldila NVS ( the high launch version of the Aldila NV).  As far as your question goes kick point and launch have an opposite relationship, high kick=low launch, med=med, low=high.  The higher the kick point the closer the club flexes to the shaft, the lower the kick the closer the flex is to the club head.

  2. low, mid, and high kick shafts refers to the different points in a shaft where the shaft flexes more or less. lower the kick=higher launch. the soft tip is where the tip of the shaft is more flexible. the low kick point is for slower swing speeds, usually like a senior flex shaft. torque i believe is the shaft resistance to twisting. the Aldila NV is a mid-high kick shaft and produces a lower ball flight

if youre wanting a higher ball flight just go with a regular flex shaft with a mid kick or mid-low kick. the Aldila NVS is a mid low kick shaft and would be a good one

  3. Golf is a game of opposites. If you want to hit it higher, go with a low kick point, and vice versa. IMO, this might be a better shaft.

That Aldila is a very good shaft, but has a very low torque rating which is usually more comfortable to hit with a faster swing speed than an average swing speed. If you are really into Aldila, you might consider this

Tip stiffness usually runs similarly with kick point, meaning a soft tip will usually be a low kick point as well. It relates to initial ball flight charachteristics, meaning a softer tip will "whip" through impact quicker than a stiffer one aiding initial lift, which especially for slower swing speeds, helps increase overall distance. The faster your impact the less backspin is needed to create lift.

  4. The kickpoint is where the shaft will flex during the downswing. A low kickpoint means the shaft will flex near the clubhead, resulting in a higher launch. A high kickpoint means the shaft will flex more towards the grip end, and therefore give a lower launch. Tip stiffness also affects launch and ball flight. A firm tip influences a lower launch and ball flight, while a soft tip influences high launch and ball flight. Torque is how much the club will twist during the swing. A low troque rating is usually preferred by fast swingers.

I'm not exactly sure about the Aldila NV shaft because I don't use it, but you should just go to a golf shop and get fitted. The fitter can then find the right shaft for you.
