  3. in Egypt culture people think that if u see  a new born , someone who is got a new car , house , T.or what ever

something is like new or what ever. u should say mashaAllah.

cuz some times when u dont say that new thing or new born or anything break , get like very sick, get destroyed .

which it happens every where but not all the countries or religion know about it.

this word can't be translated word to word.

  4. if you see someone have a something that you think is beautiful or you see someone and you think that they are beautiful or a baby or anything that you desire and think that is great you should say mashallah because if you don't than that might bring harm to the person or that thing .like the first person said hasaad which means an evil force that will harm that thing.  so we say mashallah as a protection for that thing or the person or whatever it is and as praise to allah for that beautiful thing.

for example: if you are really smart and you want to tell somebody you would say: mashallah i am really smart.

  5. ------>"Masha'Allah" is an Arabic phrase evoked by Muslims to indicate appreciation for an aforementioned individual or event.

The closest English translation is "God has willed it",

  6. it is praising allah for his greatness in making something happen

  7. it is the word that we say when we saw a beautiful thing or one to protect him or it from El hassad

  8. ":oh my god what's going on"

  9. its an Islamic phrase but used by all egyptians, it means "God wants it to be" Or "God wills it to be", it is said when you find something good or nice. it is used in the whole islamic world.

  10. It means "Allah wants it to be." Or "Allah wills it to be." If you see something nice or hear something good, you should say "mashAllah" because it is because Allah wants it that way. Example, my husband says he got an interview for a job. I say MashAllah. I am saying "Wow, that's great!" BUT I am keeping Allah in mind by saying "MashAllah" because it is Allah that causes everything to happen.

Some say it is like a protection from the evil eye. I had a friend whose husband has a nice car, mashAllah, but it was always in the shop. they believed it was because people were always saying "Wow, cool car." but never saying "MashAllah." Kind of jinxed the car with the evil eye. He finally sold it and got a simple Ford Taurus. Never had a problem with it. MashAllah.
