  1. most often it means [to a jury if granted by the judge] they are to ignore the particular &#039;event&#039; in question... such as someone blurting something out durring questioning that could be detreimental to the case.... move to strike in this instance would be a request for the judge to order the &#039;event&#039; to be ignored by anyone and everyone involved.
