What does music id means????

hiii.

i have a motorola SLVR L9 phone.

there is an option which says music ID..

what does that means??????

music id means ..

if u dont know any songs name or u r not able to understand which song is it thenu can simply start the music ID and then get the phone near the songs (from where the song is coming)  and wait there for few minutes and then it will detect and show u which song is it.
