  1. There is one whole chapter on Mary in Holy Quran. It graphically describes the events leading to miraculous birth of  Jesus Christ. Quran describes Mary as a pious, sinless and devoted lady. She was rewarded the motherhood of Jesus because of her piety.

Quran also discloses that she was asked to point towards Jesus, if people criticize her for having a Baby without marriage. She did it and Jesus spoke in the cradle:

" I am a slave of God Almighty and an honored prophet. Peace would be upon me the day I was born, the day I die and the day I am resurrected".

Looking at this miracle people left without disturbing Mary. She was protected and supported by her maternal uncle, Imran.

Holy Quran is in fact a continuation of Bible with every single word guaranteed  protection till  end of time. It says that holding Jesus son of God is blasphemous, because like him Adam was also created without father or even mother. And he was not the only prophet to die in line of duty. Zacharia and John the Baptist who immediately preceded Jesus were also killed by the Jews.  They rejected him knowingly and therefore Quran prophesies that he will return to punish them, near end of time.

  2. muslims beliee that jesus was born of the virgin. they belive that he performed many miracles by god's leave. they even believe that he spoke from the cradle which i've never heard a christian boast of before. as for mary... she has her own chapter in the quran and is one of the women quaranteed a place in heaven. :D everything is pretty much as a christian believes... with the exception of the biological son of god. oh yeah and it is believed that mary's mother, while pregnant offered up her child for service to god... thinking she would have a son that would become a rabbi... little did she know. lol

  3. She's a ho and he's an infidel

  4. Muslims consider Jesus a messenger of Allah

  5. Moslem's consider Jesus a Prophet. One of the greatest five (Abraham, Moses, Noah, Jesus, Mohamed).

And a Moslem's should also believe Mary is virgin when she carrie Jesus in her womb. And a Moslem's should believe that Mary is the Holiest woman in her Era.

  6. I am Muslim (Sunni). We also believe in the immaculate conception, that she was a virgin, and a most pious woman. But, we don't believe that makes Jesus to be God or the Son of God. It is more like Adam, who, God said "Be!" and he came into being.

You should also know that we don't believe that babies are born into "original sin" which means they carry the sins of others on their shoulders, needing to be forgiven. Muslims believe very simply: that each person stands alone before God on Judgment Day and is shown their OWN sins and that God is Most Merciful. We think it is nonsense that we carry the sins of other beings. Should a wife be held responsible for her husband beating her? Or for her grandfather beating his wife? I mean, the whole concept of carrying the sins of others, we reject that.

There is, therefore, no reason for someone (Jesus) to be sent to atone for all these sins we can't possibly be responsible for.

Also, we simply pray to God, no intercessor. No praying to any prophet (including Muhammad peace be upon all the prophets of God/Allah).

As far as I know, the shia (s**+'ite) believe the same about Mary (Maryam in arabic) and Jesus. Although, on many topics, we vary greatly.

  7. Muslims consider Jesus a prophet.

  8. Jesus is considered a prophet and Mary is given much respect.

  9. Muslims SAY Jesus was a prophet but reject all his teachings...

    That is hypocrisy...

they reject his claim to be divine

they reject his claim to be the Messiah

they reject hiis death on the cross.

    They reject his virgin birth

They reject that Jesus paid for our sins...

    need I say more?

They are contrary to Christ ....and therefore anti_Christ.

  10. Position of Jesus in Islam

       1.

Islam is the only non-Christian faith, which makes it an article of faith to believe in Jesus (pbuh). No Muslim is a Muslim if he does not believe in Jesus (pbuh).

       2.

We believe that he was one of the mightiest Messengers of Allah (swt).

       3.

We believe that he was born miraculously, without any male intervention, which many modern day Christians do not believe.

       4.

We believe he was the Messiah translated Christ (pbuh).

       5.

We believe that he gave life to the dead with God’s permission.

       6.

We believe that he healed those born blind, and the lepers with God’s permission.

Muslim is a person who submits his will to Allah.

Jesus (pbuh) said, "not my will but thy will be done." i.e. Muslim.

    John 5:30

The Qur'an speaks of Mary (called Miriam in Arabic) not only as the mother of Jesus, but as a righteous woman in her own right. There is even a chapter of the Qur'an named for her (the 19th chapter of the Qur'an). For more information about Muslim beliefs regarding Jesus, please visit the FAQ Index. Below are some direct quotations from the Qur'an regarding Mary.

"Relate in the Book (the story of) Mary, when she withdrew from her family to a place in the East. She placed a screen (to screen herself) from them. Then We sent her our angel, and he appeared before her as a man in all respects. She said, 'I seek refuge from you to God Most Gracious! Do not come near me, if you fear God!' He said, 'No, I am only a messenger from your Lord, (to announce) to you the gift of a holy son.' She said, 'How shall I have a son, seeing that no man has touched me, and I am not unchaste?' He said, 'So (it will be). Your Lord says, 'That is easy for Me, and (We wish) to appoint him as a Sign unto men, and a Mercy from Us. It is a matter (so) decreed'" (19:16-21, the Chapter of Mary)

"Behold! The angels said, 'Oh Mary! God has chosen you and purified you, chosen you above the women of all nations. Oh Mary! Worship your Lord devoutly. Prostrate yourself, and bow down (in prayer) with those who bow down'" (3:42-43).

"And (remember) she who guarded her chastity. We breathed into her of Our spirit, and We made her and her son a sign for all peoples (21:91).

[While describing people who were good examples for others] "...And Mary, the daughter of 'Imran, who guarded her chastity. And We breathed into (her body) of Our spirit. She testified to the truth of the words of her Lord and of His Revelations, and was one of the devout (servants)" (66:12).

"Christ, the son of Mary, was no more than a messenger; many were the messengers that passed away before him. His mother was a woman of truth. They had both to eat their (daily) food. See how God makes His signs clear to them; yet see in what ways they are deluded away from the truth!" (5:75).
