What does my brother need to take to college?

he has a lot of things but just to make sure could you list some? please!

Well he will need anything he needs at home, but at a smaller level, dont listen to movies..dorm rooms are tiny. All of his supplies for school he can get when he get there. Bedding, Hangers, Hamper, Laundry Soap, all of his showering needs. Towels( i would only brind 2), and shoes and clothes that he needs.

optional items-small fan, computer ( he can always use the schools), mini fridge

Just remember you are very limited on space so dont over due it with how much you bring. Once he gets into the dorm he can get creative with storage space. maybe buy under the bed plastic containers to hold more clothes.

I would also suggest duct tape. Always comes in handy. Remember that if he's going to a school kind of far away he can buy stuff when he first arrives too, he doesn't have to bring it all with him.

There are items he will definitely need, such as toiletries, laundry supplies, basic medicines (tylenol, allergy medicines, etc). He should definitely coordinate with his roommate, though, before deciding to bring larger items. Nothing's worse than showing up with a tv, vcr, dvd, etc and then finding that your roommate brought the same things! If he's able to bring is car, make sure he brings a spare set of car keys (I locked my keys in my car my 2nd day at college!). I'd also recommend a mini-tool set (screwdrivers, wrench). Being the guy on the floor with tools can make him a popular guy right away!
