What does my dream about my loved one mean?

the other night i had a dream about this one girl that i love and we are very close but in my dream i was holding her hand and then darkness was around us like creatures were coming towards us. The only thing i could see was her and me and i didn't feel afraid i didn't care as long as she was there what does this mean i couldn't get this off my mind at all.
