Question:

What does my dream mean? A Neon coloured tarantula giving birth on the poster in my room?

I had a freaky dream where i was just sleeping and i heard a wet sound, like a fish flopping around. I woke up to find an enormous Taranchula on a poster near my bed that looked like it was in pain. It was like neon blue and orange and probably the size of a cat. It was squeeling and giving birth or something. I woke up in the dark to find it still there in the same spot and this part was real, because you just know when something's a dream. after I blinked it was gone and I couldn't get back to bed.. I have a great fear of spiders..

What could this mean?

Also while im asking about dreams...

Sometimes when i'm falling asleep but i'm still i a state of conciousness, I begin to have a faint dream of my lamp falling from the ceiling, and I wake up to a loud bang, like glass just droped from the ceiling! nothing did fall but it sounded too real.

how could this be explained? =S

Thanks everyone

  1. Ump- the two cases you describe are not dreams, but visual and auditory hallucinations(!) I won't assume you get stoned regularly, but that's often the case with 'flashbacks'. Not to wag a judgmental finger at you, just be advised to ease off the party scene (e.g.) until you get leveled out. *However*, if this is happening without the influence of trancendental medication, check about for recent unusual influences or stress. If you're functioning OK otherwise, and this occurs as a nocturnal diversion only, let it occur as it will, and see if it runs its course.

I don't think you are going nutso, and I will not advise running for a shrink and/or lots of pills; we are mostly over-medicated as it is, so just 'lax out unless this becomes pervasive or a negative influence in your active life. Enjoy..
