What does my dream mean? Gory horrible dream.?

I dreamed last night that I was in a dungeon or some sort of basement. There were mutilated bodies of naked pregnant women. I was responsible for disposing of bodies in the furnace. I don’t know how the woman were mutilated but I refused to take part in the disposal of the bodies. I sat their just sick to my stomach. The women’s bodies were cut in half and the only party of the bodies laying on the floor was the upper torso. There were no heads. You could tell they were still pregnant because the abdomen was super enlarged. It was like they were almost ready to give birth.

This dream was very disgusting and repulsive to me. I am embarrassed to even say that I dreamed this. Why would I dream something like this? What does it mean?

That... is a weird dream. However, i can't quite say what it means. It could be anything from something in your past life, to just a random dream. Only certain dreams mean something.

I don't know your s*x, age or history, so it's difficult to make any assumptions about the dream itself, but here's my take on it.

Dreams are often your subconscious's way of exaggerating another issue. From what you've detailed, my guess is that you're either feeling some sort of pressure from outside sources or some sort of guilt about something you've done. The answer would lie with whether you're male or female.

The hardest part of interpreting this dream is that I don't know if you're male or female. Your s*x drastically changes how I would interpret the dream itself. That being said, I'll give you an interpretation for both.

If you're a male:

Looking it over, there are a couple of possibilities. 1st, I wonder if you're feeling guilty about something you've done to a woman lately. Even something small could bring on underlying feelings of guilt or shame, which is basically what this type of dream means.Your underlying guilt about what you're participating in could also be why you don't see their heads or faces. It's a way to distance yourself from your guilt-- you can't look them in the eye.

Another, more literal, explanation could be that you're feeling pressured to begin a family or, more simply, to grow up and make some kind of major life change. Pregnancy represents adulthood and responsibility-- something many men have a hard time facing, especially if you're still young. The fact that you remember that the women were "super enlarged" tells me that there's another, more pressing event happening. It's the pressure of having to stop something before it happens. And you've waited till the last moment to do it. While you feel bad about 'getting rid' of the offending women, you're still participating which tells me that you hate what they represent to you-- change and pressure.

If you're female:

There are also a few options for this as well. 1st, do you have any children? If not, this dream could simply be your subconscious jealousy toward women who are expecting, who do have children. This is a dream I would easily expect from someone having difficulty conceiving. However, it could also be from someone who absolutely isn't ready or doesn't want any or any more children and is constantly being pressured by their family, society or even themselves to do so. A woman constantly feeling the pressure that she should be doing her 'duty' could get frustrating and you're acting out by dreaming of 'getting rid' of that pressure: throwing the pregnant women in the dungeon furnace. The fact that you know it's in the dungeon could also mean that this is a hidden desire... you don't want to admit that you don't want children or what children represent: what society wants from you. Even this day and age, many women are shunned for not wanting children. It's still considered strange and so you may be feeling inadequate or misunderstood.

the 2nd idea is that this is simply a stress dream. The fact that the women are pregnant doesn't necessarily have to mean literal pregnancy. It could just mean you're feeling pressured by society to follow the 'rules' and to be what you're expected to be. Perhaps your boss is on your case about how you dress or act. Maybe your parents are pressuring you about something or your boyfriend/girlfriend is driving you crazy. The act of being in a dungeon, getting rid of bodies tells me that you have some secret desire to get rid of some kind of pressure you have in your life. The fact the women are pregnant suggests it's pressure of a more social type.

For both men and women: the act of throwing headless bodies in a furnace isn't so unusual in the dream world. Many people find themselves murdering people in grotesque ways and doing all sorts of insane things that shock them when they wake up. The fact that the women are pregnant adds another, more telling, layer, though. But my advice to you, whether you're a man or woman, is to look at your life and see where the pressure or stress is coming from.
