i had a dream last night that i was being helped by a counselor about my life, and feelings. but my grandma had hired him and stuff and we ended up going out to places together so he could help. and then i had asked him about his status and he was like im married. and then i really didn't care, but as we went on

i had fell in love with him, he was the type of person that i want in my life someone that treats me like a lady and has a proffesion. but then i had busted out cryin and he had asked me what happened and i said i really like you. and then we were in my back yard at nite when i had told him. so then he said he had to let me go. so in mydream we stopped talking but he called me to tell me something-- and then i had woke up crying, and when i still think about it t feel as if it really happened and cry about it. what does this mean??? help.

I think I understood most of that.

The counselor is really a psychologist, just so you know. It's not uncommon for women to like men older than themselves (even twice the age) so this part of the dream is actually realistic. Also a psychologist (or any doctor for that matter) may not have a relationship with their patients. This is against the law, something you knew subconsciously, and thus that's why he had to let you go. If only you could remember what he said on the phone. That will keep you just wondering for next few days I bet.

As far as you waking up crying... this is common. Strong emotions often escape from our dreams to reality. Some people wake up crying (like you did), some out of breath, and some screaming.

Now what does this all mean? Either you're looking for men older than you or you enjoy psychology (but I'm really leaning towards the first one there).
