What does my eye exam mean exactly?

For SPHERE

OD(Right eye) +0.50

OS(Left eye) +0.50

For CYLINDER:

Both says DS

You are very slightly hyperopic (far sighted).  Unless you notice problems with reading, you likely don't need glasses.

What did the eye doctor tell you?  Your eye doctor will give you a better answer than any stranger on the Internet.

That is just a very small magnification to help with reading.

Being a nursing student, you probably have many hours of study to do.

Did you mention to the the Dr. that your eyes were burning and got tired  when you read a long time ?

If so...those will help.....but if you don't feel you have any problems, and didn't complain about anything, then forget about them.

They aren't strong enough to need unless you are having a problem.
