What does my female cat pee on everything? books clothes plastic bags? her litter box is cleaned everyday ?

Have you tried changing the brand of cat litter you use? If you have something scented, buy something unscented. My family had three cats - two girls and a boy - and had to have two litter boxes, with unscented litter, because the boy wouldn't use the same one the girls did.

Have you ruled out medical problems?   Maybe she has an infection and needs to see a vet as single queens are usually quite neat and fastidious.  Is this a sudden development or has she always done this?  Did you switch litter brands recently?  Has a neighborhood tom taken to spraying your front door?

I have the same problem - Do you have other cats? It could be because, she wants the other cats to know she is around. Also, its an annoying question but is she spayed? That could also be why if she isn't.

Whenever you see her about to pee pick her up and take her to her litter box, she will learn that the box is where she has to go do her business. My cat would do that from time to time and whenever she was about to pee I'd just pick her up and take her to her box it helped.
