I have math intervention and math. What does that mean?! Someone please help!! Is it for stupid kid?! Ugh! My parents are gonna be so mad! Is that what it means! Ugh! =[

  1. uh..intervention is something for people who have like a drug/alcohol  problem...

    do you mean integrated? That would mean it's a basic math class. Theres nothing wrong with it. It just means it moves at a slightly slower pase, gives more attention to the students, and covers the topics more throughly, as opposed to the regular ones, which move much quicker, and leave students to do much more of the work on their own, and you go through lessons extremely quickly.

    Tell your parents that. They'll be no reason for them to be mad, it's nothing to be upset about (:

How did you do on your state's standardized test?  In our middle school all of the kids have 2 math classes and in high school the kids who basically need tutoring for the state mandated test take two math classes.  Your best bet would be to go talk to your school counselor and ask about it.  They may have put you in that class based on your test scores.  Try not to worry about it.  Surely if you need extra math help your parents won't be mad at you.  And this does not mean that you are stupid.
