Usually I don't like hyphenated last names.  I know it was popular in the 80's - and still today somewhat.  Rather than hyphenated last names I wish women would just take their last name and make it the middle name.  But that's my opinion.

I think it sounds pretty cool. It is sort of like one of those "hero" names every guy wishes he was named. Like Maverick, MacGyver, etc.
