What does my niece need for her 7th grade shopping list?

My niece,Nina,is really nervous about starting seventh grade and going to a new school. She is overflowing with a ton of questions,but her main question is...what school supplies does she need for her seventh grade year? It is sort of hard for me to answer this question,because I can barely remember what I ate this morning and now I need to think back to seventh grade! Please help!!

Does your school give out a list of supplies? If so, use that.

I am a seventh grade math teacher, and this is what I require:

pencils

paper (get a lot when it is cheap...sometimes at wal-mart you can get it for 10 cents per package)

notebooks

binder

red pen

The other teachers at my school usually want them to have blue or black pens, binders with dividers, paper, etc.

Just get her a notebook and some pens or pencils for the first day. The teachers will give her lists that first day of what she will need.

Also, if she has a locker, she might want a locker shelf and some of the gimmicky magnetic pencil holders to put in the locker.

Tell her not to worry--seventh grade is AWESOME!!! And she will feel at home within a week. If she is still concerned after the first day, contact her teachers and they will let you know what she can do. Good luck.

listen i am going into 8 grade and there is alot of pressures in 7th dating,apparel ,looks were the most stressful thing about it plus  boys will be jerks becuase they dont know what to say to a girl their getting that age were theyr interested and do stuupid **** like smack a girls ***. Learning wise you to projects and homework is piled up a little more but not to bad just dont s***w around get it done. ;D i hope i help and please tell her this she totally need to know bec no one told me this 7 th grade was a terrible year for me

You should have a school supply list. Each school has a different one so I couldn't tell you what she needs. So check on the school website or call in.

Schools either send home a list or give the kids a list on the first day of school.  Each teacher requires something different so on the first day, she  should just go with a pen and a spiral notebook in case she needs to jot anything down.
