Question:

What does my recurring dream mean?

My dream is technically recurring, I suppose, but every time I have it one detail is altered. Nothing in particular seems to cause it. In my dream, I enter a multi-story mall. I am with my daughter. We stop at this eclectic store and buy sunflower seeds. We then take the elevator to the top floor, which is a bank and extends over the side of the building (think upside down "L"). The walls and everything are gray marble with white and black swirls. A few employees are lounging about, obviously pretending to work. Along the floor, several tiles are missing. The first time i had this dream, I was too afraid to even try and jump across the floor. With each dream, I have moved progressively forward, but always panic, and run out carrying my daughter. This last time, I was struck with the realization that maybe the "sky" below the missing pieces is really nothing more than a mirror. There was also a bush sculpture of an anchor. Any thoughts? I'd really appreciate it.

  1. What you thought is what you dream.

Your dream indicate that you are very careful in life.

You care about where you steps, especially about money matters. That is why you dream of a bank with missing floor tiles. Your dream indicate  that you are worry about financial matters. You are trying to clear your financial difficulties.

  2. ok, so my thoughts on this are summt like...

    1) your progress across the floor represents your progress in a real-life situation (maybe related to your daughter and your relationship with her). you are uncertain about making progress, but are slowly doing so.

    2) the realisation that it might be a mirror: you're beginning to see that maybe you're worrying about something that isn't really a problem

    3) i'd check a dream dictionary for 'anchor', 'sunflower seeds' and 'bank' if you feel these are significant: http://www.dreammoods.com is the one i usually use

    4) have a look at other things in the dream and see if you associate any meanings with them... (an example: "there's a dog, but i'm scared of dogs, so dog=threat or danger)

    5) don't get too hung up on it =]
