What does my wierd dream about Subway and my enemy mean?

I dreamed I went to a new little outlet mall with my best friend, and the only place to eat there was Subway. When we got in there, we saw about 5 of our mutual friends, but they only said hi to her and ignored me. When they got their food, my best friend went to walk with them while I ordered my food.

I ordered a simple footlong sandwich, and the girl was fixing something that looked 2 inches long. I asked her about it, and she said she'd go call her manager. While I waited, My worst enemy came in and rolled her eyes at me. I smiled and said "hey" to her, and she was suprisingly nice to me after that. She even sat next to me. I waited around for what seemed like hours, and all the employees were ignoring me. My best friend had even ditched me. The manager finally came, and she kept changing the subject. Finally, I got so pissed that all my yelling was being ignored that I left.

What does all that mean? I was being ignored by EVERYONE except my worst enemy...

I think it's pretty clear:  you get nourishment, symbolically speaking, from your friendships:  and you feel that you're not getting enough from them.

When you complain about it, that results in enemies rolling their eyes at you and ignoring you; presumably if you don't complain about it nothing happens.

So, there are two things you can do:

For one thing, broaden your horizons to another circle of friends, or two.  If Subway is the only place for you to eat, then you have no choice and you're in a weak position.

For another, it sounds like you have only two or three strategies for dealing with adversity:  give in; complain; and yell.  There are a lot of other ways to handle things that aren't going your way:  Learn to dispute nicely, but firmly.

I'm kinda going beyond the dream on that one, but I get that sense.
