  1. Nadal will be no 1 this year as he has very little points to defend. Round 4 at US. Round 2 at a Masters event . His last years hardcourt season was not too good. Roger has to defend US Open crown. ( 1000 points and had finished abobe Rafa for most of the tournaments ). The gap currently was 1100 points or so. But Rafa will cut it to 500 somethin the next week when new rankings come as Roger will loose 300 and Rafa will gain 300. So Rafa just needs to get 565 points more than Roger the next hard court season and he will be no 1 even if Roger wins US open

Rafa will start winning hard court events also some day

  2. The US Open would do him good to win. He has to win all of the tournaments he didn't win last year to become No.1. I don't think he'll do it though.... he'll be No.1 next year!!

  3. It seems to be all about points and Federer is still ahead of Nadal.  The Wimbledon final was amazing and proves just what a fighter Nadal can be - I can see him picking up the points and being No. 1 next year.

  4. he needs to have his balls drop. federer ftw!

  5. federer should have won! =)
