What does nero 7 (the computer program) do/what is it designed for?

i have it on my laptop but it takes up a lot of space so is it worth keeping, what does it do?

i also don't know what these do (or if they are worth keeping):

Nero is used to burn cds and dvds ie write data onto cd/dvd

picasa is used to manage all the pictures on ur computer and has many fuctions as showing slide show, makeing back up, writing etc

spyware doctor helps ur pc aginst spyware

avg is used to monitor ur system for virus

and is zip is used to compress ur files or makr ur file is .zip format which uses less space
