What does non-Americans think for America?

just wondering cause in america, we hear that canada people are really rude. but what does everyone think of america? by he way i am an american and i am a teen =]

Well ive been in greece for a month so far and ive asked people the same question. They dont neccesarily hate us which is a good thing. Although, they thin kour government is trying to take over the world, they think America is going to war with Russia again. They think a good majority of Americans are Ignorant, rude, and have no respect for anything. For instance, the beaches in greece have chairs you can pay to sit on, this a service provided by the resturant/hotel/club. No one steals or vandalizes the chairs, no one litters on the beaches and homeless people dont sleep on the beaches either (Keep on mind these are public beaches, doesnt matter who you are if you can pay like 5 dollars for the chair you can sit there the entire day). I think you can all vouche for me when i say that if you had that in America the chairs would be destroyed within a week and people would try an get away with not paying for the use of the chairs. They also allow you to sit as long as you want at a resturant and they never ask for the money first, you always get your food, water, clothes, service, whatever first then you pay, Its the opposite way in the US and it is rude to be charged first to Europeans.

There are always going to be people who will speak badly about other races, states, countries. that doesn't make what they say true. I don't think you can lump anyone into a category, you need to experience these things on a personal basis.

People are to fast to make bad judgment on others without actually knowing the truth.

You kidding? The stereotype of Canadians is how polite they are!!  Well, Enlish-speaking Canadians. The French type are as arrogant and rude as the original European ones.

Candian people aren't rude!People are rude.All of the Canadians aren't all rude.
