I have a baby bearded dragon that seems to have had possible nose bleeds from both nostrils some point in time while i wasn't home, cause it was dried up already when i got home. Is there a possible sickness or problem the baby could be having that would cause this?

  1. It could be an environmental issue- improper substrate, too low humidity or the cage may be too hot.

It could aslo be caused by a respiratory infection so you should take the baby to a vet that knows how to treat reptiles. A checkup shouldn't be expensive and the vet can also make sure your baby is getting good nutrition, lighting, correct heat and cold settings in the cage and good substrate.

  2. get it to a vet just in case. But just so you know, young beardies (especially in a new environment) have a tendency to hit the glass with their face if they see their reflection. They dont realize that there is nowhere to go, and that there isnt another lizard there. Again, I would still take him to a vet to make sure he is ok.

  3. call a vet, could be atmes change, does not sound good though

  4. I have had a bearded dragon five year and never had that problem. Tell me a little about his living area, and what he or she is eating. Are you keeping them warm?
