What does offside mean?

Well not really wat it means,

just how can u tell if ur offside or someone else is?

Most of the games I go to, Offside means;

1. Stand Up

2. Shout at the Linesman ensuring he knows that he is blind.

3. Tell him and the referee that we are aware of his schooling and his lack of parents.

it all depends on what team you play for there in different offside rules for each team

if you are beyond their last outfield player ,when the ball has been played.you are then offside

a player is offside if a ball is passed forward to him, and there is only the goalkeeper in front of him.

to be onside there must be a goalkeeper and another player between him and the goal when a ball is passed to him.

the rule is to prevent people hanging about the goal line.
