What does one find when

Journeying

Wait,

just stand there,

light glinting off

raven spikes,

entrancing,

entangled,

enmeshed.

Words,

just sit there,

unecessary,

unplanned,

random,

vicious,

scathing.

Will I

hope too far this time;

even optimism

realizes limits,

emotions for time alone.

Applications of hidden thoughts,

mysteries realized

instead of analyzed.

Gift from the gods,

or the end of my soul,

I reach again, dismaying love.

Now I am afraid that I must

give what I have never done.

  1. Hopefully, at the end of your journey you will find someone like me.  Or perhaps you'll meet in the middle of your journey, and stop there, making it the end of your journey.  Either way, you did good.

  2. Mmm. I really liked this one.

One does what ones' heart and mind tell them. Whether it be hold on to this raven gift from the gods and give what one has never done or be it that you must let it go along with the end of ones' soul. The choice is yours and yours alone. You must follow what you feel.

If you are falling I will be there to catch you and hold you close to my heart.

By the Lady blessed be love.

  3. one finds alot.

    more.

    too much.

    not enough.

    alot finds one.

  4. We are falling...in love with the poet...

  5. Your verse makes me feel like a raven taking off from some precipice!  I know I'm not, but the step from the edge is tantalizing, and words are my means of flight.
