What does organisational culture mean to you?

If I was to take the charity I work for, I would describe it thus:  It is made up of people that have the same aims and objectives and that is to work with older people and to support them in a number of innovative ways.  The staff are sklled and experienced in neighbourhood/community work.  It is a friendly, non-bureacratic organisation.  It involves older people throughout and that is the ethos or, to put it another way, the organisational culture.

i would define organizational culture as the set of shared beliefs, truths, assumptions, and values that operate in organizations.  Organizational culture has been described as "...how people behave when no one is looking."
