If I was to take the charity I work for, I would describe it thus:  It is made up of people that have the same aims and objectives and that is to work with older people and to support them in a number of innovative ways.  The staff are sklled and experienced in neighbourhood/community work.  It is a friendly, non-bureacratic organisation.  It involves older people throughout and that is the ethos or, to put it another way, the organisational culture.
