To close your PayPal account, go to your Profile. If you close your account, all of your outstanding transactions will be canceled immediately, and your remaining account balance, if any, will be mailed to you.

So what do they mean all of your outstanding transactions will be canceled

Cause I payed for a item from Tiger Direct and it says payment completed but after it said completed I deleted my paypal account cause i didnt need it anymore will i still get my item??

  1. How was it paid for through pay-pal???  If through Credit card then you are okay, but if checking account maybe not?  You will be notified soon enough!!!  But U should still keep it just in case for future...it truly is an asset to have!

  2. No. No you won't. Since the account is closed your address is gone. Paypal will get it instead and will be auctioned off on Ebay since Ebay owns Paypal. Ha!

  3. david m is right

  4. yes, they just mean any money owed to you or that you owe to someone will be cancelled. You'll get your item

  5. Hi

outstanding transactions means any transaction that has not been completed.

If the status is 'completed' then you have no problem.

If you re worried then check with the person you bought the item from and ask if they have received the funds or you can weight for the estimate delivery time + 2 days, if you dont get it then call the person and see what they say

    Hope this helps

  6. You were supposed to cancel the account after you received the merchandise.  Not immediately after.  This item may have been cancelled. You can contact them to make sure it didn't effect the transaction, but I remember I did the same as you a few years ago and I didn't get the item I ordered.  I was advised had I contacted them immediately or reopened the account immediately it would not have effected the transaction.  Whatever. Paypal sucks.

  7. That means if any transactions have not been financially completed, they will not be paid and you will have to find other means of paying them
