  1. Only those with weak minds and inner issues get pushed by peer pressure into drugs. Only minds that want to know will try.


  2. people conform to whatever other people are doing around them. read a psychology book and youll see endless pages of people conforming to power and authority. its a fallacy to say that the environment has no effect on behavior. So drugs are like all things get respectable people doing it around a person and they are more likely to try it, that being said a firm will not to do drugs will be effective in stopping this. This will is not permanent though and will begin to change over time if the person exposes himself to pressure. later the person will rationalize the taking of drugs to make the two beliefs compatible. If a person doesnt want to take drugs its best to avoid being around people while they are doing them.
