What does percentile mean?

What if you score places you at the 85th percentile.

What does this imply about the population, and your individual place within that population?

What does it say about those who are smarter than you, and those who are not?

It means you did better than 85% of people. Obviously, the test was wrong if you do not know this, lol!

Answer 2

Being in the 85th percentile means you performed better than or the same as 85 percent of the people taking the test at that time.
